Shipping information and frequently asked questions
Packaging - Are my plants safe?
We do our best to ensure our packaging is as environmentally friendly as possible. Your plants are packaged in boxes and wrapped in an ideal way to protect the plants and also protect the soil that the roots are formed in just in case of a bumpy ride on delivery. There may be a little loose soil on arrival, but it will mostly be contained within each pot. Just give your plants a little drink on arrival and they will be very grateful to you.
Locations - Can you ship to all states?
Unforunately not. Due to a combination of pesky (but important) state restrictions, quarantine concerns and delivery times, we only offer shipping to the states of NSW, ACT, QLD and VIC.
Shipping - How do my plants get to me?
On checkout, you are given the options to use a courier service, express post or regular parcel post. Fees for a courier service will vary based on your location and this is calculated for you on checkout. Express post has a fixed fee of $19.95 and parcel post has a fixed fee of $14.95.
We don't recommend the use of regular parcel post as we cannot guarantee the delivery time or any transit delays which may be harmful to your plants. The more time stuck in a box, the less happy they will be!
Shipping days - When I make my purchase, how long until they are sent?
When it comes to plant shipping, our priority is delivering the plants to you so that they spend as less time as possible within their packaging so they arrive safely and healthy to you. For this reason, we only ship products on Mondays or Tuesdays. That means that they have the best opportunity to reach you before the weekend and ideally won't be sitting in some warehouse or delivery van over the weekend.
For example, if you purchase your plants on a Wednesday, they won't be shipped until the following Monday, so please be a little patient when ordering, these are live plants we are sending and we do our best to ensure you receive them in the best condition possible.
Arrival - What should I do when my plants arrive?
When your new plant babies arrive, they will have been in their box for a few days depending on your delivery options. Once taking them out of the box, remove the binding tape which will be keeping them stabilized, give them a nice drink and some time in the sunshine. They will thank you for it!
Guarantees - What if my plants arrive damaged or in poor condition?
If you selected 'courier' or 'express post' for shipping, we offer a guarantee that your plants will arrive undamaged and in a good healthy condition. However if you selected 'parcel post' for shipping, we will guarantee no damage to your plants but unfortunately can't guarantee plants will arrive in a healthy condition due to unforseen delays in postage that are out of our control.
If plants have arrived damaged or in a severely unhealthy condition, we offer a 100% refund on your purchase and shipping cost.
Refund policy - How do I get my money back?
Refunds are NOT offered for 'change of mind' purchases, so please make sure you are happy with your choices before purchasing.
Refunds are offerred to damaged or unhealthy stock that falls under our guarantee conditions.
If you wish to apply for a refund, please email us at sales@navallynplants.com.au. We will simply need a quick photo of your damaged or unhealthy stock (ideally still in the box if possible). This must be done within 24 hours of receiving your delivery. Once we have received your request and photo evidence, we will be glad to offer free relacement stock or a full refund to you.
Click and Collect - Can I buy online and collect from the Nursery?
The short answer is, absolutely you can.... However, if you are local enough to collect from the nursery, we recommend buying direct from the growers Riverdene Nursery which is located at 80 Allyn River Rd, East Gresford.
We would suggest using 'click and collect' with us primarily if payment via credit/debit card is your only payment method available as the nursery does not have eftpos facilities.
